Band’s concert gets into top gear
RRG Toyota of Macclesfield will be blowing their own trumpet as sponsors of the Foden’s Band concert at Gawsworth Hall on Sunday August 18.
This prestigious event in the concert calendar will feature the best of the acclaimed Sandbachbased band’s music.

Highlights will include The Champions by Wilcocks, McCartney’s Live And Let Die, Mendelssohn’s Overture by Ruy Blas and the theme from Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom. Nigel Clarke, Dealer Principal at RRG Toyota Macclesfield said: “We are looking forward to working with the band at Gawsworth Hall, the setting for the concert is fabulous and we will be making a day of it.”
Concertgoers can enjoy an afternoon and evening in the grounds, with many having a picnic and family get together.
Sales manager Mike Gregson added: “RRG Toyota Macclesfield will be presenting their new car range and we will be running competitions for clients to win tickets for the show.”

Mark Wilkinson, Foden’s Band Manager and Principal Cornet Player, said the band was “delighted” with the support from RRG Toyota. The concert starts at 7.30pm and anyone requiring tickets can send an SAE to him at 7, Narbonne Avenue, Ellesmere Park, Eccles, M30 9DL. Cheques should be made payable to Fodens Band.
