ROK plc began life in the West Country when a regional construction group, founded in 1939, was re-launched in 2001 by chief executive Garvis Snook with the aim of providing locally based building and maintenance services on a national scale. Now with sales just under the £1bn mark and more than 5000 employees, Rok operates out of 60 centres, each playing an active role in the community where it is based.
