TALENTED Bolton hairdresser, Jignesh Madhavji, has been brushing shoulders with some of the world’s top pop stars. Jignesh has been working as a stylist on the BBC talent show ‘Move Like Michael Jackson’where me met the likes of Jermaine Jackson, Jamelia, Reggie Yates and Levelle Smith jnr. Jignesh says: “Jermaine Jackson’s looking for a dancing act to perform at Michael Jackson’s tribute. The auditions took place months ago when 16 top dance acts from across the country were chosen by Lavelle Smith jnr, who was Michael Jackson’s choreographer and best friend for over 25 years, and Mark Summers, the European casting director for the ‘This Is It’ tour.’

“Mark Summers and the show producers rang me to ask if I would like to get involved in styling the hair of people in ‘Move Like Michael Jackson’. I’m a huge fan of Michael Jackson, so this was a great opportunity. “They loved my work. I think I impressed them with my creativeness, passion and determination I put into the show. “I rubbed shoulders with all the big superstars but just concentrated on my work and tried not to get distracted. I think they like that sort of character. “It was a tremendous experience and I hope this leads to me doing more TV hairdressing.
